AI and automation

AI integration for the systems your business already uses.

You have a product or business system and a specific AI capability to add: document search, classification, extraction or a contextual assistant. We connect models to your APIs and data, preserve access rules, and agree how quality and cost will be checked. If the main problem is redesigning a repeated process, start with AI automation.

When AI integration fits

The starting point is an existing system and a defined user need.

  • Add a source-backed assistant inside a SaaS product or internal portal.
  • Read approved CRM, ERP or support records without exposing information across users or organizations.
  • Turn documents into structured draft records that a person can review.
  • Move an AI prototype into your application with authentication, monitoring and a manual fallback.

What you receive

  • System and data map

A record of the systems involved, API limits, data owners, sensitive fields and access requirements. We identify missing access before estimating the build.

  • Working integration

Model calls, data retrieval and application controls in your codebase. The scope states which systems can be read, which actions can write, and who approves them.

  • Evaluation and release criteria

Representative examples from your workflow, including missing data and unauthorized requests. You receive the expected results, quality thresholds and release decision.

  • Operating and maintenance plan

Monitoring, cost limits, retry behavior, a fallback, and ownership for model, API and source-data changes. Code, configuration and handover notes stay with you.

From access review to controlled rollout

  1. 01

    Map the existing system

Walk through the user journey, available APIs, permissions and data quality. Choose one integration boundary for the first release.

  2. 02

Build and test a narrow slice

Connect the smallest useful data set and model capability. Evaluate it before adding more systems or write actions.

  3. 03

    Release with clear limits

Test user access, approval steps and failure paths. Roll out to an agreed user group with monitoring and a way to disable the feature.

  4. 04

    Maintain against real use

Review failed cases, usage and cost. Re-run the evaluation when models, source documents, permissions or connected APIs change.

What technical reviewers can inspect

  • Data and permissions

Retrieval uses the application’s authenticated access rules. Provider settings, retention, logging and excluded fields are agreed before any data is sent.

  • System reliability

Timeouts, rate limits, retries and duplicate writes are handled at the integration boundary. Sensitive write operations require an explicit approval step.

  • Evaluation

Check source support, structured output, access isolation, latency and cost on an agreed test set. A convincing demo alone is not a release criterion.

  • Maintenance ownership

Name the owner of credentials, API contracts, data refresh, model upgrades and incident response. Agree ongoing support separately from the initial build.

FAQ

How is AI integration different from AI automation?

Integration adds an AI capability to software you already use. AI automation starts with a repeated business process and changes how work moves between people and systems. One project can need both.

What affects the price?

The number and quality of APIs, data preparation, permission rules, evaluation effort and rollout requirements drive the build cost. Model usage, hosting, data refresh and support drive ongoing cost. Start with the AI integration planning guide.

Can you work with our existing model or provider?

Yes, if it meets the workflow’s quality, data-handling and operational requirements. We assess the current setup first and record any reason to replace it.

Do we need a chatbot?

No. The useful output may be a classified ticket, extracted fields or a draft inside an existing screen. We choose the interaction around the job your users need to do.

What should we share before a first conversation?

Name the systems, the AI capability you need, likely users, available APIs and data restrictions. Share a sanitized example rather than credentials or live customer records.
