Approach
How we make decisions, check our work and hand it over.
This page is for the people who will review our work: CTOs, tech leads and founders who want to know what happens between kickoff and production. Each section lists the concrete practice, not a principle.
Architecture: decisions and tradeoffs
We decide the expensive-to-reverse things early and write them down.
Decision records
One page per significant decision: context, options considered, the choice and its consequences. Stored in your repository.
Boundaries first
Data ownership, tenancy and integration boundaries are agreed before feature work starts.
Reversibility
We favour options that can be undone cheaply, and say so when a choice is one-way.
Quality: review, testing and release criteria
Quality is agreed before the build, so nobody argues about it at release time.
Code review
Every change is reviewed by an engineer who did not write it. AI-generated changes get the same review.
Tests where risk is
Automated tests on authentication, payments, data migrations and anything the acceptance criteria name.
Release criteria
A written checklist per release: acceptance criteria met, monitoring in place, rollback tested.
Collaboration: how we work with your team
Remote by default, with overlap for decisions and writing for everything else.
Weekly review
A working-software review every week against the agreed scope.
Written updates
Short async updates: what shipped, what is next, what is blocked and who needs to decide.
Your tools
We work in your repositories, issue tracker and chat, so the history stays with you.
Ownership: code, deployment and handover
You should be able to continue without us at any point.
Your accounts
Repositories, cloud accounts and domains belong to you from the start.
Named responsibility
Each release has a named engineer accountable for it in production.
Handover
Runbooks, architecture notes and a walkthrough session are part of every engagement's scope.
Engagement models
- 01
Project delivery
We own an agreed outcome against acceptance criteria. Scope changes go through a written change process.
- 02
Dedicated team
A stable senior team on your roadmap. Your product lead prioritizes; we own delivery quality. How it works.
- 03
Ongoing partnership
Maintenance, monitoring and next increments after a release, planned monthly.

Tell us what you need to build.
Share the product, system or workflow you want to improve. We work remotely with businesses across Europe and the USA, in English or BCMS.
