Challenge

Finance stakeholders needed dashboards and calculation flows that matched domain rules. Prior surfaces were brittle: hard to extend, hard to verify, and slow to change when rules evolved.

Approach

We separated calculation boundaries from presentation, made assumptions explicit in code, and built interactive reporting UI on shared design-system primitives so new views reused structure instead of forking logic.

Outcomes

• Reporting modules finance teams could operate day to day
• Clearer calculation ownership and testable domain rules
• Faster iteration on new report views without rewriting core logic
